Women of Labor coming together 

The LIUNA Local 773 Women’s Caucus represents and advocates on behalf of the common interests of working women throughout Local 773. We seek to increase positive representation of women in the workforce, to promote the concerns that will improve the wellbeing of our members and involve ourselves in women’s organizations who are interested in advancing our policies to achieve these same goals. Embracing the issues that women face today, the Local 773 Women’s caucus agenda includes equal opportunities and income for working women, expanding access to affordable childcare for working mothers and guardians, advocacy for women’s health, protection from discrimination and harassment in the workplace as well as encouraging and empowering women to enter nontraditional career roles with greater earning potential.
