Construction Re-Registration

Construction Re-Registration April 7th and 8th

As required by the current Laborers’ Local 773 Job Referral Rules, construction re-registration will be held on April 7th and 8th, 2025 at Laborers' Local 773 Union hall between the hours of 8am and 4pm. 

 You must report to Local 773 between these hours if you are unemployed and are seeking employment. Failure to comply with this re-registration will cause your name to be removed from the out-of-work list.

Laborers’ Local 773 referral Rules 

Section 3. F. An applicant’s registration of availability for referral shall be in effect for one year (12 months). The filing of a signed registration would take place on the first Monday and Tuesday in April of each calendar year. An applicant must again register his or her availability before the expiration of that period in order to retain his or her position on the out-of-work list.

Please complete the downloadable skill sheet, IDOT form and Supplemental Working Dues Authorization Form and return to this office in person on April 7th and 8th. If you are currently working, please mail all forms back to Local 773 or use our convenient drop box at the front of our office. You can review your current list of skills through the members portal. If you need additional information and/or have any questions please call this office at 618-993-5773.

Instructions for Paperwork: 

Skill sheet- review your skills on the portal. If you need to update your skill sheet print the downloadable form, complete it and return it to local 773 either by mail or in person on April 7th and 8th. 

Dues Checkoff-this must be signed and returned for the year 2025 by each individual construction/apprentice either by mail or in person on April 7th and 8th

IDOT form-this must be completed if you intend to work for IDOT 

Drug Testing- Federal projects such as solar and pipeline requires drug testing for THC. You MUST have an updated skill sheet that includes "Pass THC testing" in order to be referred to Federal Projects.
